There Are Now 100 Scientific Studies That Prove Cannabis Cures Cancer

There Are Now 100 Scientific Studies That Prove Cannabis Cures Cancer | Health Supreme | Scoop.it

Cannabis is a Schedule I drug in the United States. That means the government has designated the plant as having no accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse.

No accepted medical use? There are scores of studies that say differently.

Rick Simpson is a medical marijuana activist, and he has been on a crusade of healing. He considers Cannabis to be the most medicinally active plant that humans can use on this planet.

Marijuana has been shown in some cases to effectively treat numerous types of cancer, improve immunity, and fight anxiety and pain.

Sepp Hasslberger's insight:

So marijuana has been shown without doubt to cure a number of cancers ... and we're still using chemotherapy? Scandalous!

With all this data available, you'd think the makers of aspirin and ibuprofen would be touting anti-cancer benefits of their products (which they can legally do, given the extensive nature of the scientific evidence), and you'd think the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control, and other agencies charged with promoting public health would be quick to spread the word. Not so, however. There's too much money to be made treating cancer, after it takes root. For example, Pfizer subsidiary Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (makers of Advil) also sells the anti-cancer drug Torisel, which, at $76,000 per gram is several times more expensive than plutonium. Likewise, Bayer makes anti-cancer drug Nexavar, which costs $69,000 for a year of treatment. With these and other exorbitantly priced drugs at risk, there is no incentive for the Bayers or Pfizers of the world to undercut future profits by telling people about the anti-cancer benefits of cheap over-the-counter NSAIDs.

Research Proving Cannabis Kills Cancer Cells Safely Has Been Suppressed Since 1974

Research Proving Cannabis Kills Cancer Cells Safely Has Been Suppressed Since 1974 | Health Supreme | Scoop.it

The Medical College of Virginia was funded by the NIH (National Institutes of Health) in 1974, with the aim to provide evidence that cannabis can impede the immune system and can destroy brain cells. In fact, this research was triggered by the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) under the Nixon administration as a weapon against pot smokers, and a way to justify their imprisonment.

Nevertheless, regardless of their aim, researchers actually found some quite interesting facts related to cannabis. Their examination discovered that, on the contrary, the only cells that were destroyed were the cancer ones, and the immune system was actually strengthened. Of course, these findings put an end on these studies.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:

So if some research shows results that don't fit our preconceptions (in this case "all drugs are bad") that research is promptly suppressed...

Dr John Holt - Radio Wave Cancer Cure - most advanced form of cancer treatment in the world today (Video 45 min)

Over a period of 30 years, highly qualified Perth-based surgeon Dr John Holt has had some startling successes with a radio-wave therapy treatment for cancer patients.
However, this radical treatment has polarised the medical community in Australia. His supporters say he's been vilified, while his detractors point out there is no scientific basis for his claims.

Dr Holt's controversial treatment works, in layperson's terms, by giving the patient an injection of a glucose-blocking agent. He then shines "radio waves" into the body at a specific frequency. Dr Holt doesn't guarantee it will cure every cancer, but it's not expensive and there's no quackery about it.

Born in Bristol 80 years ago and a member of the Royal Colleges, Dr Holt has 26 medical letters after his name. For more than a decade he was in charge of Western Australia's main cancer institute, until the late '70s, when he was blacklisted by his medical colleagues and politicians...

Sepp Hasslberger's insight:

A rather simple treatment for cancer - perhaps too cheap and easy to be accepted...
