FabLab Denmark grants ordinary people access to digital manufacturing technology, such as 3D printers, laser cutters and CNC machines. It belongs to a global network of fabrication laboratories that have been established to promote innovation and invention by providing public access to these tools that are normally reserved for professionals. These creative and hi-tech workshops follow MIT’s Fab Charter whose goal is to promote innovation through prototyping, product development and idea generation. FabLab Denmark takes the charter seriously, which means that in exchange for offering free access to the machines, you are expected to let them know what you are using the machines for and contribute to making the labs even better.
