Tucked down into the southeast corner of Tennessee, Chattanooga is, perhaps, the most unassuming city in the Volunteer State. That's right: Chattanooga is the first Western Hemisphere city running a one-gigabit-per-second fiber Internet service. It's 200 times faster than the national average and has earned Chattanooga its nickname, Gig City, along with a seat at the grown-up table.
